Hi, I am not sure what is causing this problem whenever there is a fight between opponents, my computer begins to freeze for few seconds... here are my system info

Processor: AMD Athlon (tm) 64 x2 Dual core processor 3800+ 2.01 Ghz
    Installed memory (RAM): 1.00 Gb
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT with 1267 memory

Also, does the internet make a difference because I am currently using wireless.

    Thanks!

I think the internet does not make too much a difference. But you can test this though. If it happens on big multiplayer fights but not on big fights in single player then it's the internet. But I would think it's the system memory. 1GB is just not enough these days. Try to save up and upgrade that to 2 or 4GB. Them you'll be set for SC2 :). And as a bonus it'll make every other aspect of your computer feel better.

Yes, I would second that you are low on RAM and your computer is forced to use your paging file to compensate which is much slower then RAM. RAM is cheap now a days so I would put as much as you can into a gaming computer.

1Gb of RAM with XP or VISTA isn't enough on it's own really more less trying to run SC2 on it.
