Hi every one! I was wondering if there is a free windows compatible music maker. I mean Macs come with garage band free on them. I am looking for something reminiscent of Garage Band or Cake Walk (hopefully more like Cake Walk than Garage Band). If anyone has found a reliable free program to download I would greatly appreciate if you could share with me a link or the program's name.

    Thanks!

P.S. Wow the site looks so different I haven't been here since late Dec. Kudos to the web design team for the forums :good:

i am also, looking for a free music maker...unfortunately i havent seen anything free.

right now i bought a Bethringer Guitar Link UC6102 where you can record your sounds and mix some effects to it. i also use Audacity to cut out parts and modify my music.

I second that. I highly recommend FL Studio 7, if you have the cash for it.
