FPS "mode"

    How do you turn the camera angle ur whatever to make it an FPS?
    or a TPS? (third person shooter)

    whats the script or mod that allows it to work, im really confused on how to do anything other then place units right now and test the units/ do terrain things. T_T

    (its so different from the SC1 editer)

    Err, I believe the editor doesn't support that yet.. I'm not sure though.
    I've heard the editor isn't finished.

    It will most likely be found in one of the modules, available from the top of your screen. Look around in triggers too.

    does anyone also know how to make abilitys not need to be researched?

    Cameras has its own data type in the data module as well as its own layer for WYSIWYG editing.

    As for abilities, I'll be working on those late in to the night to make my arrow-key drivable hellions shoot missiles straight. Expect some revelations late in the evening. I'll probably have your question answered by tomorrow.

    thanks, a lot has changed since the sc1 version, especialy since I haven't played any other blizz games to understand the newer editer.

    I'm in the same boat as you. Just got home from the play, getting started with the editor shortly.

    I figured out how to get abilitys already upgraded, you just set a trigger for the game intalation for the ability to be upgraded.

    Nice. I kinda went on a tangent and decided to get my targeting system set up for my now-drivable, now-targeting Hellion that will soon launch a seeker missile at enemies within the target box in front of you when you hit space bar. >.> I couldn't figure out how to engage collision physics to make a missile that shoots straight until it hits something. So I set up this targeting thing instead.

    could you maybe put you're map up on some download? after you make the targeting thingy, I would like to do this but don't know enought about coding or the new editer to do this.

    I'll put it up tomorrow. Especially if you send me a PM to remind me. I had to jimmy the targeting system a little bit. Had the ability target the unit in the unit group "selected units" and make it select the unit within the target range... You'll see. I'll throw in some detailed descriptions maybe too.

    TL;DR: Send me a pm telling me to upload it tomorrow.
