    Hello,

    I have currently acquired an FPS issue.. I have been playing SC2 since beta and haven't had much issue. I play on lowest settings (even tho my computer should be capable of high, if not ultra) I typically play 3v3 with itunes or Youtube in the background at about 30-50 FPS constant. Now I play with about 30-50 FPS until mid game, then it drops to about 10 and when any type of battle happens I drop to less than 3 FPS, often times I just sit at ONE fps until units are dead.

    I have defragged, scan disked, virus scanned (Mcafee), downloaded "gamebooster", updated graphics drivers, downloaded directx 11..

    I'm not much of a computer person so I am out of ideas.. :confused:

    Computer specs;

    ASUS G1SN Laptop
    Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS 512 MB (260.99 Driver)
    4 GB DDR2 Ram
    140 GB Harddrive
    Windows 7 64bit
    Chipset Intel PM965
    Southbridge Intel 82801HBM (ICH8-ME)
    Constant cable internet connection

    ** Bought computer as Windows Vista, upgraded to Windows 7 **

    Anyone having same issue, or solution? Need help :confused:

    this is a cpu bottleneck issue, it lags hardcore during big battles and mid to late game bc ur cpu cant handle so many units, u generally need min 2.6 dual core, but something like a 2.8-3.0 ghz is more acceptable. for large sc2 battles or many playersgames

    Make sure only sc2 is running, turn down or turn off AA/AF.

    Disable all startup items in msconfig.

    This should make it lagh less.
