I did a search before i posted but i did not see anything relevent

I recently got a new HD (WD caviar black 1tb 64mb) reinstalled windows and latest graphics drivers etc, loads a fair bit faster then my old spinpoint but at the start of a game, multi or skirmish i get a low fps (40-50) for about a minute or 2 before it jumps back upto 100-120

Its really annoying as its a fresh install as i had an annoying issue whenever i played as zerg i would freeze every few seconds for a second

on the plus side it no longer takes ages to load the skirmish map list!

    any idea's? cheers,

    Enn

If you're rig is up to par, consider that it might just be the connection speed.. Run a speed test at speedtest.net and post the results. However that's not that bad honestly.. You shouldn't see anything glitch or lag with that FPS.

Also some people apparently matched up their naive resolution to the game resolution and fixed some fps issues.
