I am not big into MMO's so I doubt I will get this at all. It does look pretty epic though. I liked XII a lot, most people look at me funny when I say that. IX too.
Yay for oxymoron games!! Seriously though, I stopped keeping track after X, aside from the handheld TBS's.
I've Played 4,6,7,8,10,11,12 all which were great RPGS in their own way. If they can manage to keep making the same great quality of games I don't see why they should stop. So far all them had unique memorable characters and their own special story-line. I would say that is quite a feat for so many games in a single series.
I've played all the numbered ones but 3 and 11. Doesn't mean that I beat them all, just that I played them. I loved Mystic Quest too, such an old one.
I was on Fenrir, and got the game and started playing on release day for PC in 2004 and played for awhile maybe a year or two and then quit. I played Dragoon and Paladin and some Red mage as well with Warrior, Monk, and White mage as my sub jobs. The best thing about that game was you always had to group with people and the community was just awesome, not to mention the atmosphere of the game. It might have been difficult and a huge timesink but it had its good points and I'd say its one of the better MMO's out there if you had the time.
