    Lol @ 5
He just, sort of, admitted that the Sensor Tower has no real use anymore. Maybe they will finally axe that stupid thing now, and replace it with something we can actually use. Like a mini-depot or something, to drop off recources.

As for the Colossus: are they ever going to listen to all the complaints? Most fansites have like, 3 active complaint threads on this. I understand that they need changes for balance reasons, but now I wish that they just come up with a whole new unit. Having another Mothership change madness will kill my trust in the design team.

Does anyone know how the void ray's continuous attack deal damage? I was hoping they'd address that but good ole Blizzard answers again.

either it does 6 damage over 3 seconds before the beam powers to stage 2, or it does 6 damage per second for 3 second before it powers to stage two, thats how i think they will handle it methinks. probably they will choose the second one, do to the fact that the SC1 hydra can attack about twice in 1 second so that is 10-26(upgrades added) damage dealt, and i think the RoF is similar to that of SC1.

Anyway im glad they cleared up how the corruptors ability works right now, but the colossus still seems to be on the strong end, yet i know not its other stats right now, and will stop that judgment right now.

Yeah true. I'm confused as to how that works. But I'm glad they cleared up the confusion about the Warp Ray.

Nydus Worm is a 'building' again, according to the latest blue posts and stuff. They still have the new model, and surface really fast. No idea if creep is still required, though. They already changed that way to many times.

Creep is required but you do not need an overseer to plant it, just placed by an nydus network within los of any unit iirc.

    *facepalm*

Of course... Well, at first I thought they were handed out each wednesday, but that seems to have changed. No idea about when ours arrives. Just wait untill Jon gets it mailed to him, and writes an article about it. Although I bet all the batches are done already. They just put some time between them to build the hype. I mean, how much would you think about the game if they told you every last piece of information right now? Just smart marketing. And free as well.

So the colossus does 46 damage (peon units have 40 health as far as I know other then the scv which has 60 now) now so it would seem to me that the peon units may need a increase in heath so they would die from one volley from the colossi attack.

SCV's already have sixty health. It's not a change they've made in StarCraft2.

Also, I don't see why workers need to be able to survive one shot from a Colossus. Siege Tanks, Nighthawks, Reavers, Banelings and Reapers are/were able to one shot them and take out massive amounts near instantly, so I don't see why the Colossus should be limited. Also remember that the Colossus is generally thought of as the replacement to the Reaver, which was obviously famous for Reaver drops.

True but I think its fair to even out all the peon in terms of health. Drones get 60 heath and probes get 40 health and 20 shield.

As I've said before, it's all fine tuning. It's not just saying 'I think workers should have this much health'. It's balance, not random stabs in the dark.

With the SCV, it needs to be more durable, because they're more vulnerable that the other workers when building or repairing. For example, during construction, the enemy can't simply pick anything off the mutation in order to stop it from being built. They have to destroy the whole building. The same goes for the Protoss, where there's nothing they can do short of destroying the building. With Terran, that's not the case, as the SCV has to always be there. If they kill the SCV, construction stops, so in order to make sure that Terran construction doesn't have a major imbalance compared to the other races, their workers have to be more durable.

Seriously, there are more factors to consider than just the SCV having twenty more health than the others.

I doubt SCVs have more health for those reasons. I think it's simply because they can't heal any portion of their life on their own, so they don't utterly suck when it comes to very early rush with minimal combat units and workers.
