lol. Im buying a hardcore pc in a few weeks and this is DEFINITELY the 1st game im playing on it. Every single person I talked to said this game rocks so bad.

 

This game rocks bad.

I completed mainquest 2 weeks ago, with 1/3 of side quest done.
Right now I'm almost done with all subquest.
I explored maybe a total of 50% of all available locations.

Save on multiple games and before doing almost anything, I have about 300 saves done. It helped me reload from certain bug and scenario I did not want to save.

I did the Do-gooder path, from begging to end. Next game will be another do-gooder with physical fighting (aiming to best a Super-Mutant Behemot one to one in a fist fight). Then a evil game.

But right now I'm all Left 4 Dead ;D

 

I am gonna buy it tomorrow, so I really hope that its worth the money ^^

 

I have but one complaint, and that is that the main quest ends the game. Which is laaaame.

But it's awesome.

 

Yeah, I was waiting for something more Elder Scroll Style, but both these franchise are different style. I don't blame them, I just reload

 

F3 is overrated..
But fun though. I play it occasionally.

Got out of Vault 101. Amazing though. In Springfield right now.

I love sneaking up on someone, then sticking a live grenade in their pocket.

You get an achievement for this on the 360 version, called, "Psychotic Prankster".

 

This game is hilarious. Choosing my stats via picture-book, the G.O.A.T., beating up kids at my 10th birthday party...

Then, using spiked knuckles, I scored a critical hit a mad cow in the face, making both heads explode. Me and my roomates all yelled "FALCON PUNCH!!!" after watching that.

And this was the first 30 minutes...I can't wait to play this when I get back from break.

 

I usually go with Repair and Energy weapons, with Lockpick and Medz mixed in. Once you get AR-23's plaz rifle, you're a god.

Also, make sure you visit Oasis late in the game. It makes you feel good. And you get a kickass outfit for you sneak fans or cool outfit fans

 

Sneak, I love sneaking. Sneak up on someone, then vatsing then in the face with my AR, and laughing evilly when their head asplodes.

Or the grenade thing, knives are fun too for that.

 

If you get the Mysterious Stranger perk, you can sometimes kill the guy. You get a pistol that does insane (1 hit kill) amounts of damage. if you have the Bloody Mess perk (Who doesn't?), it results in a bloody explosion 100% of the time

 

I don't. I would take it for the damage increase, but the guaranteed gore sucks. It's a lot more exciting without it, because managing to shoot a limb off becomes that much more fun. You can still get crazy maimings, you just have to do bigger overkills.
Also, it's not even funny when you shotgun a mutant in the face to see ALL his limbs explode. Seriously. Not funny. It's just ugly.

Also, with Bloody Mess there is a much higher chance the limbs will explode instead of come off. And I myself prefer shooting someones head off and see the physics engine have some fun with it instead of just instantly liquifying it.

 

I'm thinking of getting this game...

 

I put bloody mess off by one level, cause I wanted one addition level in commando first. Just one level though.

Bloody mess is good, if the enemy is in an area you can't get to, parts of them land near you, and you can still loot their corpse without having to get to their original position.

If you play the PC version, there's a mod to remove the exploding bit of it and just have the extra damage.

 

What are used for the hot keys for the PC version?
