Lol sounds like she's a victim of Farm Town. My fiance literally knocked me down to get on facebook so her fields wouldn't die. I think it's because doing it in real life can be a pain but in video games it's a little more fun and there is no chance of losing more then a few coins that can be earned back extremely easily.

I don't use facebook at all but I have many family members that do and a lot of them are addicted to that farmtown game as well. I really don't understand it myself so I'm at a loss as well.

  7. For all the FaceBook gamers

I just created a Forum dedicated solely to FaceBook games. This is for add facebook friends that also play the same games. i have strategy's, tips trick's. I'm also planing to make some walk through s on how to dominate parts of the games. So far i have Mafia Wars, Farmville, Special Forces, Farmtown, VampireWars, HammerFall RPG, Castle Age, age of castles, Prates Rule the carribean, Street Racing and Mob wars, ect...ect... I Am addicted to these games, as many others are. I don't play anything else, I used to play Ever Quest but that got expensive so I turned to the free games online i play about ten games on face book right now and there is no real forum for all the games so i created this its is pretty bare right now but I'm adding everyday

They have been left behind. You'll be surprised of how many people shun that era because it's not in HD or some other stupid reason like that.

That is what pisses me off about this generation of gamers bralbers, most of them don't appericate good gameplay or game design anymore. That shows with all the shooters that are being released. All they care about this their Halo and Call of Duty etc.

Then there are the people that 2d games are bad because of the fact they are 2d and that is absurd in my opinion. I mean for quite a few generations all there was were 2d games and they were fun and awesome.

It's just gonna hurt the industry because with game production costs these days developers want to make games that will sell and sadly these days it's mostly the shooters that sell at least in the west.

I'm also sick of this trend to put fast travel and trails for you to follow to tell you where to go in games because it takes away the experience of exploring and learning the game world and experiencing it. Nowadays a lot of open world is pretty bland and you can just fast travel everyone or have something point where you need to go.

I remember in rpgs and other games where they only gave you a compass and you had to learn and discover the world and it was very satisfying and enjoyable. All they would say is like this location is whatever direction of this landmark. When developers say you will explore an world it's basically bs these days.

I'm playing to 'Paf le Chien' where you have to kick a dog and throw him the farrest possible. I threw him at 1653 meters now, and I'm trying to beat my record.

The birth of new game engines definitely plagued the minds of new gamers trying to identify the difference of a good game from a good looking game. Good graphics is not equal to a good game. Its sad to say that everywhere you go, there are always some graphic ***** players here and graphic ***** critics there. I still remember starting out from the atari and snes, and those are fun times. If you compare them to what we see now, you would be laughed at. But I sure am glad I wasn't born with a mind like what common gamers has these days.
