i showed shadow and 2can. Wut does every1 else tink? Been honing my photoshop skillz this week. First with Clan RoT's banner and a few other things and this is my latest work.

I prefer banners to have borders and a clear point which grabs one's attention. Also I like to avoid redundancy like writing out the same thing differently.

 

i didnt write the same thing tho... Empire is the clan name. Clan Emp is our clan channel.

Yes, it has. But even if it didn't, I said I prefer borders.

If I really wanted to give more info in the banner I'd create an interface and have the text displayed accordingly. Your current text doesn't tell an outsider like myself anything.

Kuvasz. What would be good to add to a banner to help someone know what exactly they are looking at like you say? That adds to what Weeman said. I didnt know what a banner should really say, i kinda just went off out current one in the forums.. but that one sucks so its not the best resource.

As I said, make an interface. What I'd do is make a Terran metal frame with a display and have "clan" and "channel" either "painted" on the interface or have them displayed the same way the "variables" would be, that is, on a black background with something that resembles digital display, like green unanti-aliased, preferably monospaced typeface in lowercase. Throw in scanlines on the display and rust and stains on the metal part and you should have a nice banner. Or sig, depends on the outcome

well i like the one we curently have exept for the [E] and i also like evan but i dont like the block letters

i got a couple who said they dont like the letters. Ill play around and change the font.

Ill prob put just EMPIRE and like a saying under it or something.
