Either having problems with computer or the game itself

So I have installed the game and everything to my PC desktop and when I double click the shortcut to start the game my screen goes like black/ really dark blue and nothing happens...no loading no messages no error codes nothing so I am completely baffled if anyone could help me that would be wondering thank you very much.

 

Bad install? Maybe try reinstalling the game. Do you meet the minimum system requirements?

 

Read my FAQ and see if any of that helps you. If not, well read the last question and answer all that you can about your machine specs. Can't squeeze blood from dirt (meaning, we no nothing about your machine configuration, so we can't even begin to help you yet).

 

Yeah I read your FAQ just didn't see anything that really helped me out. Yeah I wasn't sure if I needed to post that cause I wasn't sure if perhaps someone might have had the similar problem. But yes I am positive I meet the system requirements. Here's my specs. If I forget anything just remind me.

Okay, awesome.

First, are sure you are running the newest nVidia drivers? If yes, have you seen the updater program run at all? If yes, does it still say "StarCraft II connecting to patch server," THEN the screen goes black? Are you able to end task StarCraft II using ctrl + alt + delete and accessing task manager or do you have to turn the power off then back on?

Do other 3D games run and/or do the same thing?
