FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD MAP EDITOR SEEKING SKILLED DATA/UI/TRIGGER EDITORS Yes people, There comes a time in a young map editor's life when he seeks out his first group of fellow editors to make a proper map. That time has come for me, so anyone out there with DATA, UI or TRIGGERING skills please contact me, ESPECIALLY if you are skilled in the field of FPS Just so you know what you're getting into, i'll give a run down on the map. Star Crisis (working title) an FPS based on the on set camera FPS games (eg. Time Crisis) this game will have 2 players (marines) going through the game killing swarms of infected civs terrans and zerg hordes with a boss at the end of each level. the game will have 5 levels, each getting progressively harder and harder with the final level being a final boss probably in the shape of the flying zerg boss from the campaign if you're interested, PM me and i'll give you more info. Thankyou Daemonicus
In the old arcade style shooter, the player doesn't have control over movement, the camera moves by itself, so the two players will not be able to control where they go, just the shooting will be up to them
sweet so from what i can tell from previous conversations, you have ample experience in data and triggering, correct? I'm going to see if i can make a custom UI for the game too. or get someone with the skills.
I can do pretty much anything you want. My skills are more easily categorized by concept rather than module. For example, I know very little about campaigns and projectiles. However, I'm a fast learner (the only map editor I have ever used besides Galaxy Editor is the original SC editor, which is about 1/1000th as powerful) and in about a day can learn a new concept and coherently discuss it.
