I'm at the battle of Char and I dont want to complete the battle until I've upgraded everything in the armory, but how do earn additional credits if youve already completed the previous missions?

I'm pretty sure you have to do the campaign a couple time and focus on different parts of the armory upgrades. For example, do it one time and focus on getting all the infantry upgrades and maybe another one, then doing it again but focusing on a different strand of upgrades (helps if you don't get any mercenaries and you just save that money).

Yeah, it's a *****, but if anyone knows a way to get around this I would love to know (too late for me cause I did the campaign but can't get back to the ship, so I got to do it all over again...but I have to do it over again anyways because I didn't get the bonus mission -___-)

collect up as many credits as you can, save the game, spend it all on one type, reload the game... etc.

i think i'll try that, actually.

what? reloading the game does NOT reset the ability to recieve credits, I even tried completing missions on brutal mode and I still did not recieve credits.

anybody figure anything out? i feel like SC2 would not have stripped us of being able to max out your upgrades before completing the final mission. no bueno.

I think he meant that you would save up all your credits for a lot of missions until you have enough to spend on all the upgrades for a certain section (like infantry, vehicles, etc.). First, you save, then after you get all of them and get the achievement for getting all the upgrades of that section, you simply reload at your save and spend all the credits on a DIFFERENT section, get that achievment, and keep doing this until you get the full mastery achievment.

I guess you'd also have to wait until you unlock all the units before Charr >__>

Its meant to be a choice and guide how you play the singleplayer and add replayability. No point in buying upgrades if your going to get them all anyway.

But yeah just reload saved games.

It's not really cheating. It's not like you can actually utilize all of the upgrades, you just don't have to go through the campaign like five times to get all of the achievements for them.

Well it only takes 2 playthroughs to "legitimately" get all the armory achievements. Unless you are stupid like me, getting a little of everything the first time through and getting none of the achievements by the time I went to char. Then it takes 3 playthroughs.

Well, I'll probably get them the cheap way, i have enough missions left, and I'll probably play through it several times purely for fun.
