Early sc2 Screenshot with new Zerg?

Real or fake?
I know its an extremely early screenshot of sc2 or a mock up. And if it is Blizzard material this is probably what they used as foundation in the early stages of sc2.
I noticed those Zerg units, maybe it gives us a slight idea of a new Zerg unit they are developing.
But I can't help notice how much it looks and attacks like those huge bugs from Starship Troopers that siege enemies with blue shit.

Definetly fake or something from extremely early in the developement process either way its junk at this point.

The reason I think its fake though is the SC2 actually has a 2 instead of II.

 

Yeah, I just saw the same thing LordK, its fake fan-art. Not so bad, but way fake and old. That Zerg beetle-like siege unit which squirts that acid reminds me of Starship troopers.

 

Whenever I see this picture the dragoon always reminds me of a car.... (not the legs... cuz cars dont have legs... well, some do, but nobody likes them cuz they're gimp)

 

Yeah this was brought up before. I believe it was a mod of Warcraft III made to look like a new Starcraft.

 

I believe this has been brought up in these forums before, its no SC2. The Graphics are way different.

 

Rex you can't say this isnt SC2 just because of the graphics. Have you not ever seen what the first SC looked like before it's big graphics jump? This could easily be a pre alpha SC2.

That said I don't think it is actually SC2 and even if it is the zerg is the picture doesn't help at all considering how old this picture must be.

 

This has been brought up before, and I remember people saying it wasn't SC2 at all, it was fan made. It was in some thread, can't remember.

 

Just because other people say it's not sc2 doesn't mean it's not. Unless Blizzard themselves confirm its fan made or a mod it could always be a pre alpha sc2 shot.

 

Lol I don't think Blizzard has time to search around for that kind of stuff saying if its fan made or not, unless you post it, and ask them.

 

I didn't say they would or they should I just said unless by some miracle they find it and say its not there's than you can't really be sure >.> unless the people who made it come out and say they made it to...

I think that's a C&C 3 mod, or something similar.

 

This has been around since before SC2 was announced. It's fanart, a 3D rendering.
