I dont really remember much about Duran from Brood War. What is his story and what were his goals in the storyline?
I saw the post on Duran Theories but i wasnt really looking for what he could be but what he did in Brood War and why. I'll check the other posts for answers though.
We don't know his history. He showed up saying he was with a small UED force that got cut off. He manipulates the entire UED force, leading to the "death" of Admiral Stukov and the destruction of the Psi Emitter. He disappears. He then shows up on the Zerg side, leading Kerrigan to believe he's hers. The he somehow severs the psionic link between them, implying that he is much, much more than human. Psionic potential of 12, at least (Kerrigan is 10). He also calls Zeratul "Young prodigal," implying he's Xel'Naga, or, at the very least, closely affiliated with the Xel'Naga.
