Finally some new Duke Nukem Forever info!

    Now what does this mean?
    - 70 out of 900 done
    - that makes over 90 percent of the game done
    - quick maths:
    - time past: 4380 days since April 1997
    - time left then: 487 days
    - release: 11 August 2010

Now, of course this is just a speculation. Not proof.
However, if the game is not released by that date, then they are actually slowing down.

Then we would finally have proof the game will probably never released. So just wait for 1.5 years to be sure! XD

Sweet! :p But hey, you shouldn't expect it on shelves as soon as they've finished all their 'tasks' - unless one of those is to release the game :D
I am pretty sure that they still will have some final tweaking and play testing to do after that.

You are like this guy, and shoot pigs... Or are you a pig that shoots guys? Meh, the game is going to disappoint anyways. Even Half Life 2 turned out to be over-hyped. Just think of what will happen when this hits the shelves.

I think its abandonware now, so you could find it online.

I hope the wait's gonna be worth it. If the game turns out to be at least d3d with better graphics ill be happy :p

ITS TIME TO KICK AS$ AND CHEW BUBBLEGUM.. AND IM ALL OUT OF GUM :D

Ummmm, that is not a very good estimate considering developing games or for computers in general is very inconsistent, sometimes you get these right, right away and sometimes you run into unforeseen problems.

You even got the amount of tasks they had left wrong, they said they STARTED with 800-900 and now only have 71 LEFT, that means they have completed 730-830 tasks so far.

Also, with the nature of this type of development there is really no way you can tell what the release date is gonna be unless your one of the ones working on it and can make an estimate or it is already decided when it must be finished.

Dude, chill out. Have a cookie. It was just an interesting Twitter message to speculate on for a bit. Didn't I mention not to take this to serious? Just be happy that we finally have some details on how far they are...

I am, sorry if I don't seem calm. I was just pointing out some obvious mistakes or misinterpretations you made from such information that isn't a even a reliable source. I was also trying to explain how estimating it like that isn't very accurate.

It's not math here, it's supposed to be "70 out of 900 to be done"
