Because the hands of this guy turned out to be incredibly hard to draw. Hands are hard anyway. It's a shame that part of the details got lost because I couldn't use a flash. Caused the drawing to become way to shiny. I guess that's what you get with so many layers on there. Comments please. Even if you think it sucks. ^^ And I hope that at least ijffdrie can figure out what this is supposed to be.
YES! IT'S A SENTINEL! Lol. I was afraid to have failed even harder then usual. Anybody got some suggestions for my next drawing?
You could have drawn a cannon instead of a hand if there so hard to draw. What the hell is a sentinel?!
I knew it was a sentinel right away too. Although, I may have assumed it to be a generic robot dude if not for the "Wolverine" in the title. Shading here is very, very nice. Much better than the last one and I didn't exactly hate that one either. His jaw seems to jut out more than I would think a sentinel's could (those guys seem very ridged) but I actually love that about him. Adds to the emotion. So I'm gonna just assume that was 100% intentional . The only things I would nit pick about is that his wrist is a little skinny for the rest of him and the stuff coming just looks like scribble.
Yeah, I was going to draw all these wires and such, but then realized that I should have made those before drawing the end of the wrist. Already made like, 6 attempts on the hand. Erased them all. ^^ I might do something Starcraft or Warcraft related next time. Probably just going to imitate already existing artwork, since I have no inspiration whatsoever to create an entirely new concept for that. Hmm. Maybe an Archon. Would be fun to force myself not to use all these layers all the time.
I was actually gonna say that, but for 2 things. (A) I couldn't remember the name (B) I was wary that after I spent the time to look it up, I would be wrong. Sweet drawing though, my only complaint is that the...er...stump on the end of his(?) arm appears to be too small compared to the rest of the body, like out of proportion. Other than that, awesome.

Draw something similar yourself then. All in my free time. To bad that teaching myself goes a bit slow, hehe. I'm trying to cut back on watching tv and stuff. When looking for starcraft art on the internet I was like: that could be fun. So this is something I can spend a lot of time on and actually get better at. Prefer that over watching reruns of old tv shows any day. I've never really drawn a lot of serious things. Most of the time it's just an emotion that gets more elaborate as I go on. So basically, this really was drawing #2. Never had a real goal before when drawing anything. Watched a couple of youtube tutorials and such. Interesting stuff.
