Downloaded Replays -simple problem !?!?!?

Hi i recently got the SC2 EU version.

Anyways, i am able to watch all the replays i have played.. They are saved as .sc2replay..

When i download replays they get saved as .rep files... These files does not show when i open sc2 and try and play the replays... Also when i change them to .sc2replay files i see them in my game client , but then i get error when i try and open it.

If I remember correctly, .rep files are from SC1 not SC2. Hence none of them will ever work.

You probably ended up in a SC1 replays website and didn't realize. There are tons of them, it's very easy to get confused specially if you google "starcraft replays".
