DoW's getting a new expansion, and it sounds amazing, just like everything else Relic does. The Dark Eldar and air units. In DoW, that's pretty much orgasmic. (I need to spend less time on the Other Games forum)
DOW was cool, but balance just became so fkd up with each expansion pack that i just gave up lol. If the second new race is nids than i might get it
I hope this one's standalone as well. I didn't buy the base game, only Dark Crusade, since I wasn't going to play multiplayer and figured I might as well save money.
I was hoping for DoW2 I think its about time they move pass expansions but I guess one more will do since there is only the 2 races left
DoW Gameplay is quite messed up, now there are caps on everything! But you recognize the balancing problems that come with 7 different factions. I like it more for the "Waaaagh" factor, fluff and "feel" are quite nice. I can imagine how they came up with the Baneblade: "How do we build a improved tank?" "Duh, bigger and more guns!" (In the Tabletop version it is even bigger).
DOw is fun. I mean the physics are awesome lol. i can't wait to get the new exspansion. I know they said they were having dark eldar but i dunno about nids...
How is DOW? i havent bought it yet, i tried to download it, but i was stupid and got mad for some reason and stopped it at 94%...it was DOW and dark crusade bundle.... but how is the game? the original, i could buy it for 12.50$ now here in israel(moved here this summer) and would DL the addons, but is it worth it? and i hear the new addon on is gonna be soulstorm? and feature the dark elves and maybe the tyraniods or whatever they are... what about witch and deamon hunters?
I think DoW is quiet boring, I don't know why, maybe because I don't have any expansions. But if the new expansion is including tyranids, then I buy it.(I collect tyranid miniatyres) I have a feeling that the expansion has Apocalypse things.
I think DOW is one of the best rts out there. just because its so fun. and to needler that is the reason. when i first got it i even liked the regular one. then the exspansions came out and it got even more fun. and the new exspansion soulstorm has confirmed dark eldar but nuttin else.... I WANT NIDS.
