Someone had ideas about creative things to be added for the Zerg, but as we can see there are still many things we can find in current gameplay :D
I used it once on some terran, but did not manage to finish off with zerglings :< Well it ended up good for me anyway. I think it is so unexpected from Terran side that you can use his confusion later on (for fast expo or tech :p), cause they tend to play carefully after that.

E.g. you can spawn spine crawlers if you have pool down, but they do not produce broodlings and will die pretty early without creep :< Maybe place them behind minerals to slow enemy's economy...

ohhh man that was beautiful, loved every second of it once the first pack of broodlings came down.

If Joker wasn't such a tool, you could almost feel bad.

I feel like shooting the spawning pool instead of getting more units was proof that this guy deserved the loss though.

That was hilarious to watch, but in all fairness it only worked due to the sheer shock value. Just like with planetary fortress rushes it is pretty easy to beat if you aren't stuck like a deer in the headlights going "waaa-th-****?!".

In fact it is a LOT easier to stop than a planetary fortress rush, and probably wouldn't have worked if the chambers were placed closer to the resource line, which wouldn't mentally screw with Joker's walling off, not popping right next to his spawning marines, and his first reaction would probably be to run the SCVs.

It was probably even worse for him as a terran player, since I imagine there are less terran players with experience dealing with broodlings that early in the game (i.e. rushing someone's pool, etc).

I imagnine that doing it on the front door and then comming in with lings could do Terrible, Terrible! damage.
Gotta try it out some time:)

I think you could do a funny variation of this by rushing for lair and getting the ovie upgrades, then only creeping a small area so the enemy doesn't see it coming, then begin to pressure his front door with ling/roach/banelings and come in with all of the broodlings to his minerals.

But I think that an infester drop in the corner of their base and spewing infested terrans everywhere would work better.
