    like white terran is kronos wing, red terran is elite guard, blue protoss is sargas tribe, red zerg is tiamat brood, orange zerg is garm brood, know what I'm saying? does anybody know the other colors for all three races?

    You obviously don't know what you are talking about. The Blizzard bestseller series I bought had no manual. You only got that with the original.

    Actually there is a manual in the CD of the Bestseller version.

    Why the hell would I look into such things? Paper manuals are awesome to have, but screw pdf. Never even bothered to check. Battle.net classic has the compendium, and the wiki fills in the lore. Paper manuals are just a collectors item. -which I think is pretty neat-

    Agreed paper manuals are way better, I just thought that you didn't know that there is a pdf.

    Wow...
    Didn't even know the colors are related. All I look at is the score. And haven't played against computers for a while.

    Eh all I did with my SC BattleChest copy was register it and download the online copy. Lost my manual somewhere.

    Does this mean that in UMS, the color will still be related with the Squad/Tribe/Brood?

    The manual had brief listings for the Terrans. It didn't cover smaller groups like Cronus Wing or Elite Guard or Antiga... you know, the ones that actually appear on your score screen after a level. (It also mentions Nova Squadron, which I don't think even appeared in a game.)

    The listings for Zerg and Protoss groups were pretty inclusive, though.
