does anybody else think terran air is weak?

the reason i think they are weak is because they are so slow. Like battlecruisers and wraith fire 1 laser at a time. Its so slow. One of the sc trailers from the original sc showed wraith firing 3 lasers at one time at a target..so why not do that in the actual game? same with Battlecruiser. That huge thing should be able to fire multiple lasers.

 

No race is weaker than the other. The BCs are beasts when it comes to taking damage so it wouldn't be fair if they fired faster. Plus, with upgrades that one blast + Yamato tears through stuff.

 

Terran flyers are strong aerial attacks but suffers against ground targets...
(maybe exept b-cruisers against the terran...but only combined with siege tanks)

 

I think that the only terran air that is good vs ground is the battlecruiser but that doesn't make terran air weak. The terran have seige tanks to deal with ground targets.

 

Ever seen what happens to Zerg air when a fleet of Valkeries comes by? It ain't pretty.

 

Haha I think it's beautiful. That huge swarm thinks it's all that and then it just disappears into a mist of blood and guts.

 

terran air is among the strongest

 

and you forget wraiths can cloak which will catch most people off guard

 

Terrans have, imo, the best air force out of the three races. No combo makes me happier than Valkyrie/Battlecruiser

 

yea air to air they are pretty dominant. but what about ground units against terran air? pretty weak.

 

1) Battlecruiser
2) they don't need mass anti ground for their air because they have... siege tanks...

 

i find only the terran warights are good becuase for bcs u need a long time too make and they can be fast destroyed by a defiler ot by a high templer

ehh more like rock paper sissors...each unit has strengths and counters. kinda hard to say they suck because in this situation they get owned. So ya terran air is strong

 

but i find its not so strong like protoss air..

 

Although, if you look at it, Terran air is mostly geared for air-to-air. The most a Wraith can do is harass (8 DMG against ground).....Battlecruisers are the only things that can effectively attack ground, but they're top tier.


IMO, Protoss air is the strongest. I don't care what anyone says, Scouts rock.
