Do people still play on battle.net?

    So I use battle.net to play online but the list of games is so small. Where does everyone play? Sorry for such a noob post.

    It's not a noob post, don't worry. But from my experience a ton of people still play on b.net. I hardly play anymore but when I was on US West there still were a ton of people playing, although I think there's more on East.

    Fact: More players are on USEast, however, more pro players are @ USWest.

    And yes, people still do play battle.net, about 5,000 players per gateway.

    There is a still lot of good people on East, anyway your game list is small is because your on Org., a lot more people play brood war :D

    I play on Broodwar too. Ok, thanks guys, I was just making sure I wasnt missing out. I am just getting back into playing so I feel really nooby. Anyway, Ill see you all in the forums.

    A more importnat question is where to find people who want to play something other than BGH/LT/BB.

    Trying to host games with other official maps is like pulling teeth.

    I usually play on hamachi because I couldn't find good channels on b.net so I eventually gave up. Do mention a few if you know popular ones.

    Yea, a lot of people play private but there is still a good amount of people on, maybe as not as many as a few years ago but still a decent amount.

    Hah, Clan Emp is your ever on @USeast.

    And just by logging on, you can see that atleast some 5 - 10 K people are on starcraft/broodwar.

    ICCUP is a gaming league, for pro players. Google it.

    Although its actually meant to 'grade' a player/team, they also exclude many hackers/exploiters and is a mainly "melee" network, you wont find UMS games or capture the mineral games
