I recently crashed my HD, and lost Broodwar. I don't know where my CD is anymore so I am planning on buying one on amazon or ebay. If I only buy Broodwar, will I be okay to play it single player and multiplayer, or will I also have to buy the original SC?

    Thank you!

It's an expansion, not a standalone game.

Yes, you need the original SC installed.

Thanks! I don't know where my CD is or the box, so I don't know the CD key anymore unfortunately.

If you registered the game on B-net, you may find your cd-key there.

    Good point

Actually thats a good point. If I re install the game with, I can still go to multiplayer and use my account. It's like playing on a friends computer with my own account.

    I think?

    Another good point:

Save the CD key in your inbox. Thanks Kimera
