Just got this game and I need a little help with install. Keep getting error code 5 half way through the installation process. Same when I try to download it off Blizzard account page. Been googling it all day trying to fix the install from crashing, but truth be known I'm terrible with computers. I got thinking about it and figured maybe my computer needs some fixing before I can install this game...

    System Specs
    Processor : Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs)
    Memory : 3326MB RAM
    DirectX Version : DirectX 9.0c
    Display : Radeon X1950 Series
    Approx. Total Memory : 512.0MB
Total Available Space On Hard Disc : 938,680,635,392 bytes

Any input would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your link, but sadly I've been through that thread many times. Everything I have attempted has failed. I even went through switching from FAT32 to NTFS as FAT32 wouldn't allow me to copy more than 4GB at a time. I will continue searching for a solution, but in the mean time any suggestions or recommendations would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you for your time,

Error code 5 is the inability to read a certain file.

    What file can't it read?

Thank you for your replies Fenix, but I have discovered the problem. My compact disc drive could not read a dual layered cd and the last time I tried downloading the client from battlenet I left the game CD in the drive. Today I tried downloading the client today and it worked flawlessly, just got done playing for the night. However one odd thing did happen, it said my video card was out of date and such. However, I run all the video settings on max with no frame rate problems as of yet.

    Thank you again,
