So I've beaten Acts I and II, and am well into Act III. For the heck of it, I went back to the Canyon of the Magi in Act II to see what a few extra character levels and some better equipment would do for the fight against Duriel. The weird part happenes whenever I find Tal Rasha's true tomb. Everything goes just fine for about five minutes, but then the map gets cut off just outside my current sight range - even a path I just walked down will be completely erased from existence. My hireling and any other NPCs in the area will be stuck running in place and won't respond when I try to talk to them, and I will be unable to use any items in my inventory. Has anyone else encountered a similar glitch, or know how to counter it?
The way you explained it sounds like lag to me. I used to get a black wall of nothing, cant use potions, my merc runs in place, etc when I had a bad connection.
I thought it was just lag at first, but the black wall of nothing only appears when I find the true Tal Rasha's Tomb. I suppose it'll be worth trying to Kill Andariel again to see if the same thing happens.
