In the demos we've been shown till now, when the buildings are destroyed, they flare up into a huge explosion and leave nothing but a crater. This goes for both the Protoss and the Terran buildings, and I was thinking, why dont they add something extra? What would really make my day is when my reavers D8 Charges blow up those supply depo's and barracks, a small ruing will be left over, along with a solid pillar of black smoke and fiery flame rising from the used-to-be-building. Discuss
I thought the same, there should be ruins of it and slowly each parts fades away and not only that each building has its own features as it is in ruins, for example a barrack is destroyed and it is left with same parts but in ruins
i think that it should blow up into a huge ball of flame (already came true) then parts of the building should like crumble away (cmon) the the parts sink into the ground (done) and the crater stays there for about 1-3 minutes (idk about that)
i hope zerg building bleed and fall apart with a huge woosh i hope terran buildings leave ruins which need to be cleared (1 square takes 4 secs) i hope protoss buildings disintegrate
zerg should flop over then the blood should come pouring out of them like a river from hell and it should be rated teen
Teen is above 12 I believe Good idea for the Terran ones to have to be cleared. Could give a chance for them to be salvaged as well, before they completely disintegrate, giving maybe 20% (number argueable) back. That could actually be a cool mechanic! I don't think the Protoss buildings should just disintegrate, they should propably be like the Terran ones, but without the salvage mechanic. Maybe SCV's should even be able to salvage these too! And yes, the Zerg ones should just crumble and bleed Edit: Spelling mistakes
i think a pylon should blow up like the mothership from independence day: a big explosion and a ring of fire coming from the middle which symbolises the power field. the other buildings will look like they logout: small blue blocks appearing at the bottom of the building which disintegrate while the blue blocks appeear higher and higher
I like the idea of Terran buildings leaving ruins behind, which then should be cleared. Maybe the clearing might take less time than salvaging, so if you are in a hurry to build something over the ruins, you wouldn´t go salvage them, because all the recycling takes so much time. Of course you wouldn´t get any minerals from just clearing the debris, but it would be much faster. edit: and yeah, teen is above 12. You're right folk ! There MUST be ruins once a building id destroyed. May it be Terran, Protoss or even Zerg. And those must disappear with time. Like for the ruins destroyed and falling to the ground we see in the videos, may they be units or structures. Good view !
