Deduce story from units...

This is a little like 10 years ago you got the original StarCraft, opened the editor, read the manual whatever adn noticed there were Dragoons that were dead Zealots and figured someone would probably die as a Zealot and come back as a Dragoon. Same with WC3 seeing those Paladins and Death Knights, though I was always surprised Turalyon didn't come back as a Death Knight at the end of WC2, though I guess Gorefiend didn't need the competition

Anyway there was that one cutscene with Zeratul collapsing and maybe dying infront fo Jim Raynor, I'm going to guess Zeratul will come back as a Stalker. Then I'm going to guess Findley will pilot your first Thor or possibly Marauder. Blizzard have got a history of never letting their heroes stay dead so I'm going to say Fenix will be back as an Immortal and Tassadar as an Observer

The Battle Cruisers are now drunk Russians, instead of the usual admiral types, so I'm going to guess beat-down remnants of the UED will be back, in a sorry state of course. You'll fight / assist some red-necks piloting Hellions, though that isn't really a surprise, and your first Marauders will have some extra bad-*** mission, probably a last stand. Medivacs are easy, some medic from BW will steal a Dropship and so on

The Zergs are a little harder, lets see you'll chase some poor Zerglings into a toxic waste dump, seeing them emerge as Banelings of course. Then for some reason a Queen will lose it's ability to fly for some reason

Also, why base speculations solely on the in-game unit when there's always bits of lore to accompany them?

If you click on an Observer a lot in both SC and SC2, you can hear "Will it bring him back?" "Activate the time dilation protocol." and "En Taro Tassadar" played backwards. This is definitive proof of Tassadar's essence being channeled from the future and infused into every Observer.

 

Zeratul may have been wounded, but he can still walk. No stalker for him. Not yet, anyway.

 

or maybe it's just picking up signals of other protoss chatting about tassadar on the radio.

I must have seen a cut-down version of that video because I don't remember any of the talking, still I think it says even more. Massive deduced spoiler here but Zeratul will probably die only to come back as a Stalker, at-least someone has to die as a Dark Templar and come back as a Stalker, and I mean who else? Some stinking red-shirt?

 

no, zeratul should almost die, and a new protoss hero that is introduced to the storyline should merge with him and he should become an ARCHON. we need a friggen hero archon, that's just badass.

Not always, at least not one of the more well known Dark Archons.
