Is it possible to somehow deactivate my bnet account so I can sell my copy of starcraft 2? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry, nope. You'd need to sell your Bnet account if you want to sell SC2. It actually states in the terms of use that you have a non-transferable license meaning you can't sell your game once you've activated it. Instead of combating piracy, I think the real target of all the activation brouhaha is the used game biz.
Is there any way to change your name once you've activated? I.. might not have read all the text before entering my name, and although it's not the worst of names, I wouldn't mind changing it. Anyone know?
They might let you if you call it in. They seem to be enforcing "inappropriate" names, and allow those people to change theirs etc.
