I must say, this game is epic. I like everything about it, except for the fact that it's just a little to console ish. It could have been a bit more complex, and the controls for the pc version could have been better. But hey, the game is still quite new, who knows what else is going to come.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else here has tried it yet?

    What's the subscription cost?

    Nevermind, I'm dumb.

Better question, is there a trial available? Like, at all? This looks like something I'd like, but I don't have 50 do just randomly drop.

No trial yet, so I decided to take my chances and just buy the game, and a month's worth of game time.
So far I'm a huge fan of the combat system. It's no standing still and pressing buttons, you can actually make combos and such when fighting, design your own class with dozens of weapon and power combinations, and your hero can look truly unique. This because you can pick the looks of any piece of gear you've ever collected, even when not wearing it.

Still, I'm having my doubts on how long this game will remain interesting enough for me. The "instances" are made for 2, 5 and 8 people at max. There's quite a few of them, but it's basically the only thing there is to do at max level, which you can reach in about 20-25 hours max. (the level cap is 30 at the moment) You can try pvp, which is supposed to be great fun, but still. =/

TLDR: fantastic game with many cool features, but I'm not sure how long it'll keep me entertained at max level. I plan to unsubscribe after a month or two, and check back later after a couple content patches. I'm an alt addict, though. So I might just end up with making a dozen chars with all interesting power combo's. :p

Anw, time to get back to my flying, kinetic energy shooting crystal hulk, with a hammer the size of a small elephant.

I tried it too when a friend bought it and I can say that yeah, it's the only MMO ever since wow came out which I consider truly unique and awesome to play!

Love the combat system, the movement system, the whole character creation and progression and most of all the fact that you can lock your toon's appearance to what you consider the coolest regardless of equipped gear, and play because you enjoy what you see...

Really, right now I'd only consider playing one of 2 MMOs and these are Cataclysm and DC Universe... All others are wow ripoffs, imo...

Really great game, if you can afford playing an mmo, this one's really worth it. Very fun and entertaining to play, indeed...
