Anyone play this game? I love it, the only thing I hate about it is that the Orks seem a bit overpowered when I play as Necrons. Link.
Hey there ! I played Dard Crusade before. Actually I just uninstalled it a couple of days ago I thought it is Necron that is overpowered? Anyway, my favourite race is the chaos. IMO they are cool and quite powerful as well.
Y'know, Necrons are the hardest and easiest race to kill, their units DO NOT DIE, but all you need to do is take down their Monolith and you're set.
Dawn of War is a magnificent game, although I simply cannot understand their developer's statement about the game not being focused on micromanagement. Since bashing the reinforce button on various squads etc. seems to be the most occupying part in a battle.
I will get this game when I need a little break from Starcraft. The Warhammer 40k universe is very fascinating and all my friends have liked the game. RTS games rule :good:
hey fallrider! Dawn of War is awesome! cant wait till dey dish out some tyranids and dark eldar lol. Chaos wuz my fav race too, but i only mainly playd Winter Assault at friend's house like once or twice a week from da first patch to about 1.42. each patch changes so much stuff!!! but it wuz quite surprising 2 me dat though i barely playd it at all, wheneva i go play onlnie at friend's house i wud win about 90%+ 1v1 games on blood river/[dat small 1v1 bushmap where u hav 2 ways connected 2 each other around both sides] wif raptor-rush lol? and im talkin abt against guys wif over 70% winning rates, every1 else just got booted -_-"". there rly wuz only 1 guy who truly countered me, and all he did wuz purely mass guardians! afta losin his first game he beat me lik 3 times in a row wif dat strat so i jus changed 2 massing unreinforced melee-stanced chaosmarine squads and a few cultists, ended up workin very well ^_^. that wuz obviously b4 da patch dat nerfed the guardians i think. but i guess sc players ftw? =D btw watz da point of getting demon prince? from da last patch i playd on in Dark Crusade he costed da same as bloodthirster but wuz EASILY much crappier. slower, cant jump, less health, less armor, less damage...i didnt get it... o btw i tried making a starcraft Dawn of war map, but like sc ghost, kinda became permanently delayed, and like only half completed wif space marines and chaos, and havent rly even touched da triggers of eldar n orcs. but if u wanna try it den id b glad 2 send it 2 ya or ne1 else who'd lik 2 wat i tried 2 do =P. ill b even mor delighted if some1 cud continue its production under their name! but mite hav 2 talk abt it b4hand 1st X)
Haha, I suck at maps.. or else I would do it. I dunno about the Daemon Prince though, I'll have to check that out.
