na i love the new look, gives a more distinct difference between the dt and zealots too

somehow makes them look more like hunters, like stalkers (i dont mean the units), and that suits them cause they're the cloaked assassins ya know, grim reapers of the sc world

BiBaKi >..> I don't like em cuz they're Twin Edged Scythe's... I'm a fan of the grim Reaper but It just doesn't seem like Starcraft to me.

I would be inclined to agree.  I like the more sword like warp blade they had before.  The double bladed scythe thing they have now just doesn't suit my tastes.  Grim reaperish as they may be, I just don't like scythes as weapons.  It just doesn't make that much sense.  A sword is much more elegant and has much more finess and exists for the sole purpose of killing.  A scythe is a farming tool.  To be honest, a pitch fork would probably make a better weapon than a scythe.

:) That's what I thought too. It's a reason I might not play Protoss. If it makes them look like Zealots it's worth it. Because they are cloaked and you would be abel to tlel the difference.

Take note to the fact that this is STARCRAFT 2 and not starcraft. I personally like the new weapon a lot more. I meen what did they have before? one longer than normal psiblade?

i don't reallly mind. all i care about is the cloaking and high damage they do. so meh who cares. plus you can't expect blizzard to keep everything the same. times have changed. sc2 will still be good.

I think that the scythe makes a lot more sense than the blade, it is just another symbol of how dark and different they are from the rest of the protoss, and how does an energy weapon not seem like Starcraft?

It's a scythe. It seems more like Warcraft to me.

There are no scythes in Warcraft, and even if there were why is taking something from a successful game like Warcraft a bad thing?

I like both of them equally. They're both sinister and deadly.

    1. I never said it was from Warcraft. I said it's like it is. 2. Warcraft has Magic. Starcraft has Technology....

That makes absolutely no sense, a scythe is not magic, there is no way that you can relate it to Warcraft other than you don't like either the scythe or Warcraft and are therefor associating the two dislikes together. Also, Psy-Storm is basically magic.

Dark Templar are the embodiment of death on the battlefield. Which is scarier, a WAZHUPE sound and a grey blade, or a Death Templar spinning that thing around lopping off limbs and arms as it melts around its foes.

Yeah. That's waht I thought. Punk.
