In some live videos I have seen the protoss (nexus …….) in a dark style, but I have thought that the video was with low quality and it is no real dark color. But yesterday I have seen some pictures where is saw some units in dark color (carrier colossus warp gate ……) (They was not darker as the void ray stalker and dark obelisk) The question is: Is this a map option like in wc2 who some buildings have in winter small changes (church with a Christmas tree, castle with more towers and ….). Or is this a gameplay option, so like the terran you can choice your coat of arms (emblem, logo) (Raynor's Raiders or …….), so you can choice between light and dark protoss ?
Well if you saw pictures then it might be a good idea to link them here? There are probably different lighting settings in SC2 related to weather conditions but I've seen oddly set up video recordings where everything was darker. This doesn't explain the pictures though, so.

Oh, that. That's probably the atmosphere of the map. Space platform and twilight seem to be dark while desert and forest light.
