Show the teams you currently have in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. Compare teams, offer advice, etc. Current Team(havne't used many TMs): Overall pretty good, only thing I noticed is that they could use better moves that help allies, like teach a electric move to another pokemon to heal jolteon in battle.
I'll post my team next week when I buy a new DS. I know for a fact I have 3 60's, and then I have a whole bunch I'm raising via Elite Four and Exp. Share. Later, if you're going to use your -eon team competitively (Online battling or whatever), you mind want to find substitutes for those HM moves if you remove them.
How exactly do you battle online with your DS? I know theres a way to do it with the Wii Colosseum game, but I don't own it.
You just need a wireless router (or in my case, the neighbour's), and you can go online. Seriously, I just fired up my DS one time, got the signal, and traded somebody.
<.< Pikachu! Lvl 99! Onix! Lvl 99! Pidgeot! Lvl 99! (Pidgey, Pidgeoto, Pidgeot, I think is how it goes...) The other three were just rare whatevers with low levels. EDIT: By the way, this is my Pokémon Yellow team. Just thought I'd show my input with the old-skool.
PIKACHU! Level 100. Lightning Bolt Thunder Bolt Tackle <insert> CHARZARD! Level 100. Flamethrower Fire Blast Sky Uppercut Blast Burn Um...
My Current Ruby Team, as I haven't gotten to playing Gen 4 yet... Hitoyama [ 45 Groudon ] Guraena [ 42 Mightyena ] Panzaeron [ 40 Skarmory ] Anesama [ 40 Gardevoir ] Wakasyamo [ 40 Blaziken ] Sha-Kazuki [ 36 Sharpedo ] Negapi [ 36 Minun ] Massuguma [ 21 Linoone ] - My HM Slave. Note: I switch them out as needed, as I've listed more than Six. I'm dreading the grind to get them to a decent level for the Elite Four, since I've just defeated Wallace.
Personally, I feel that Pokemon is getting worse. The original are the best, but right now, slowly, the creativeness and looks of Pokemon are failing.
Um... so? Legendaries aren't even that much better. I wasted every single ****ing dollar on power ups for my Pikachu and Charziard, and I had a Blastoise and a Venasaur. To top off my team, I got a Salamance and a Mewtwo. I would switch on/off some pokemon.
Blastoise isn't Dark. Raikou isn't ground. Charizard is owned by a Rock move, 4x weakness. Blastoise? Any great Electric/Grass move, like Thunder, Thunder Fang, Solar Beam... Venusaur is owned by a high power Flying move (Aerial Ace, Air Cutter), a Psychic move, or Fire Move. I'm pretty sure Ground is still good against it too. Mewtwo's easy. A high power common move like Shadow Ball or Crunch. Dragonite has a 4x weakness to Ice. Raikou I'm pretty sure has terrible defense for a legendary. Say hello to Earthquake.
Blastoise has been taught Bite, which is a Dark Move. That is what they mean by Water/Dark. Same with Raikou. Raikou knows dig. Also, you're not taking into account that these Pokemon would belong to an actual trainer, who would switch them out accordingly. You bring out your Grass/Electric to deal with Blastoise? He returns with his Charizard/Raikou.
Electric still has an edge over Charizard, even if Charizard (possibly like every other Diamond/Pearl battler has) would know Earthquake.
No, I was saying that, Charizard would counter your Grass type, Raikou your Electric, being resistant to Electrical Damage, and knowing Dig.
