    My latest movie watched.

    Great show.

Basically, these people are trapped in a GIANT cube, comprised of smaller room cubes. They gotta find their way out. But!! A twist. Some of the rooms are booby trapped. OH NO!!

Basically, it's a thinking man's version of Saw, except good. The characters have character, the traps are inventive and not horrendously gory. And it's good.

    Anyone seen it?

I've seen the first one and it was watchable, it's like Resident Evil in the 80's but without zombies.

    I just watched it then.

Looked it up on Wiki, (yeah, I know, I'm hooked on Wikipedia's plot summaries) and, after getting hooked after the first paragraph or so, and wondering if it was the right version, after all, it was made in 1969, looked up the trailer on YouTube. As it turns out, they've got the whole movie there.

Ninety minutes, and one awesome movie, later, I wrote this. :p

Oh, and a good thing about watching it on YouTube was avoiding any potentially disturbing gore, etc. Anyone know what it's actually rated?

Indeed, Cube was pretty good, I was happily surprised by that fact as I saw it on the SciFi channel, and most movies on there aren't anything to write home about so to speak. I saw that hyper cube was on right after, but didn't have a chance to watch it. For those who have seen the second it good as well?

Itza, it was actually made in 1997, so....

IMO, the second one, not so great. It just didn't have the same level of suspense.

Fun fact!! The entire film was shot on a single 14x14 set. They just changed the color of the lights

You cannot question a dead man!

    *Jumps out window.*

But seriously, I think I just figured out why I said it. At the top of the Cube page on Wiki it's got some link to another page which is:
So it wasn't just a Freudian slip...

    Nope... Definitely not.

    *Ahem*

I saw it a while back, and I really liked the idea and the execution and stuff. But the acting was kinda bad in places. The cop was facepalm in a few scenes.

Haha that cop, I really enjoyed his character and how he

Kills off that lady, and then at the end he gets chopped to bits! Bloody hell, creepy ass flick that was, hate to wake up in such a god forsaken place like that.
