Will the tank have a rapid/er fire then before? Will it's attack decrease and its speed increase? Or is this just a BETA stage of the great tanks of StarCraft 2. If you notice, they're not in siege mode. This is just one of Blizzard's efforts to improve the Tank mode, in addition to improving the armor.
Yes, the explosion is kinda big for the assult mode. But I like the rapid fire, puts me on ease about the Vikings seemingly weak GtG attack.
It des look pretty big, yes. But like Zergalicious said, the rapid fire is good. Now the Siege Tank won't get pwn'd as horribly in assault mode as they did in the original.
Yes I like big explosions...I just hope assault mode doesn't suck as much as the original. And lol@ sin...although it does look a little bit like they're in siege mode at first.
i think it is just a big explosion because of the building blowing up. yeah hard to see if they are in siege or not the first time. I like how fast they attack it will be nice for it to do some damage before it dies to melee
I wonder if then they can attack like moving. I hated how they looked when they ran away, but still targeted the enemy. If they do that in this version they should at least have a weaker attack that attacks when they move.
their explosions might have been fused with some of the marine fir as well, or other units off screen with a long radius of attack
yeah i think that they should be able to attack while moving. It doesn't really make sence that a tank cannot attack while running away even though its big gun is aimed at the target. I agree with cannonfodder that if the tank can do this maybe it's attack should be lowered to some extent.
there is no need for a lowered attack if the range is significantly lower, just dont chase it, or destroy before it runs owerdown:
If tanks could shoot while he's moving that would do crap for the micro. At least with siege tanks before you had to stop, shoot, move, stop, shoot, move. This worked fine for Cobras because they were weaker and less tough, but not for tanks.
