I've been reading through the threads here to try and solve my problems, but everytime I find a fix something else goes wrong. First the game wouldn't patch, but I've managed to fix that (peerblock issue). Then the game kept crashing on startup, but I managed to get it to work by killing EVERYTHING (all processes and services not essential to windows). Then I couldn't download an authentication module and the only fix I could find for that was restarting the game and trying again. Unfortunately after quitting the game it either crashes during the loading screen or occasionally I'll get to the "login to battle.net" screen, but it's already crashed and the bug reporter will open. Anyone got a fix?
hey I had it doing the same thing to me I reinstalled the gpu with the latest drivers and it would hardlock at times
I actually updated my drivers right after installing the game (it told me they were unsupported). I've managed to get the game running (no idea how) and also managed to download the auth module. For now I'm just leaving it open and refusing to shut down my PC until there's a fix. The wierd thing is that performance is perfect, no stuttering, no crashes at all. the game has been running for hours and hours without any negative effects, it just doesn't like starting up.
