First off i have updated my graphics card driver which is a geforce 8800 gtx. i have lowered the graphics to all the way to low. i have reinstalled the game. but yet im still haveing the same problem i do not think the problem is with my computer as im useing a Alienware with 2 Gb of ram running vista with 2.3 ghz dual core processor and i have a 3.0 mb DSL.

The problem is that when i join a match on multiplayer as soon as the game gets started it closes SCII conpletely leaveing a error message that wishes me to send the message to blizzard. the error message says the following.

Use a program like MemTest. An access violation like yours (read or write) could lead to a broken RAM. If MemTest shows any errors, try removing your Ram and only use 1 at a time while re-testing your RAM...

In case you were wondering where to find memtest86...
Burn it to a DVD/CD and then boot from the DVD/CD and run it. Flash drive works too...

If you pass the test, post a full dxdiag.

I am having the exact same problem. The weird part is that it usually lets me play online for five minutes and then crashes. Offline matches, Campaign works fine. Everything online, like customs, quick matches and the like make the game crash with the access violation message.

I already had a few instances when it let me play the game online and I could finish a match. So far I have also tried everything but without any luck. The only thing that originally seemed to fix the prob was erinstalling the nforce chipset drivers for the ethernetadapter. Unfortuantely the next day the problem was back.

Check out if the chipset drivers are up-to-date.

Good luck that you will find a solution!
