Cpu Temperature and Thermal Paste

    I just installed my Core2 Duo 2.93 which I got for $112.99 as it was an open box - It was the last processor left in my price range and I decided to get it. The guy at the store said it had been tested by their tech guys and they also have a 14 day return policy on this. I applied the thermal paste arctic silver 5 in a straight line, which I briefly read, I have tons of paste left and I was wondering what tool can i use to monitor the cpu temp or performance to know that it is running in good condition
