Hey guys, need some help / advice on what and or how to get gold on these 2 challenges, they are the only ones i am having trouble with. Any advice or help would be much appreciated!! Thanks
For psionic assault, the important part is how to keep each wave from hurting your units. For melee waves, you can force field and kill them with storms and sentry beams. But most waves have some long ranged units, and I found the best strategy there was to conjure up some archon illusions and have them tank while you storm and attack with sentries. Covert is, in my opinion, the hardest challenge to get gold. The trick is to plan out where you are going to nuke before you start the mission, and then multitask to get all those nukes placed. If you can launch all seven nukes at populated areas then you will score a gold medal. Don't hesitate to use cloak to bypass most of the spine crawlers and scattered units. Your ravens should be the bodyguards of your ghosts, using turrets to kill enemy units and spore crawlers, and hunter seeker missiles to kill overseers.
Yeah was able to finally get gold in covert, still having trouble with psi though, will try your suggestion =)
In psi, keep in mind that you have tons of energy, just block the passages and attack with sentries and save templar energy for when needed. There should be a youtibe video about it...
