Could Tychus be the PC from Starcraft 1?

Could Tychus be the PC from Starcraft 1?

    What do you think? I think all the signs points towards it: His armour is blue, he's a long time friend with Jim Raynor, he suposedly a criminal that just doged a death sentence ( Blowing a big hole through the Terran Dominion and everything you did in Starcraft 1 as Terran in single-player I think would warrant such a sentence :) ) and he's a bad-***.

    Also I think it would be pretty cool, maybe even more if they don't ever directly say it and just hint it. Maybe he and Jim Raynor references something you did in the original Starcraft or they just leave it at that they know eachother from a long time back. Since you really didn't know anything about the player in Starcraft it also won't get in the way of any back-story.

    Is there anything that makes this impossible? Like does it says if he've been in jail for more than 4 years? If he've been in jail for 4 years on the other hand he's not a new friend of Jim Raynor and if he's not the PC from Starcraft 1 he must be someone from long ago.

    No. He was frozen solid in a cryo-prison at the time. He wasn't doing anything, saying anything, leading anything, or thinking anything.

    We've also been told Raynor hasn't seen Tychus Findlay in 14 years in StarCraft II; there's only been four or five years between StarCraft I and StarCraft II.

    /Thread. Pretty much literally.

    I understand, and I also remember in one vdeo he was surprised to see the Hyperion. It wouldn't make much sense since he would've controlled it. Still I think you only controlled it during the Protoss campaign, I think it could've tied things together pretty well if Tychus had gotten arrested at the end of the Terran campaign in Starcraft 1 (and Jim Raynor controlling the remaining blue Mar Sara marines). It would fit with this whole Jim Raynor getting away while he didn't. Oh well.... :)

    Findlay was arrested at the end of the Guild Wars, 10 years before StarCraft I.
