    im going to say that, that was an old art work of the corruptor, while they were still deciding on how it add this unit into the game

    Maybe that's what the infestor should look like.

    Looks good as a Ground unit. Looks better as an Air unit.

    Although it's the exact same design, I'd say it wouldn't fit as a Zerg unit it if was on the ground. It just doesn't fit in with all the other Zerg Ground units, while it does with Air as their Air units always tend to be more... extravagant.

    Looks wayyy better as a ground unit, the Hydralisk should mutate into that also since the Mutalisk lost a mutation.

    IMO, their ground Corruptor is a much better concept, notice it can spawn some kinda creature as they pointed to ''lil maggots''

    i think they should make the infestor's model into this and leave the corruptor alone. Also IMO this looks like a hyrdalisk, i wouldn;t mind if they made another hydra mutation that evolved into this.

    Look what I started. Actually the purple tentacles would make the infester look too much like the corrupter if Blizz were to make that switch. It would be a badass model for sure, but not very unique. As Itza said, Zerg air is rather extravagant.

    Yeah you'd never find Zerg Ground units that look like this, but their Air has always different. Do people here honestly think that this would fit in along side Zerglings, Hydralisks, Lurkers, Roaches, etc? I certainly don't. Zerg Ground units all tend to fit in with each other, but the Corrupter does not fit in in the slightest. Meanwhile all Zerg Air units are much different and more, as I said, more extravagant. They certainly wouldn't fit in with the Ground units, but they all fit in in the Air. The same goes for the Corrupter. It's a different type of design, and doesn't follow the same conventions as other Ground units.

    good point but still, just image it could shoot purple spines instead of green. However the chances of BLIZZARD ever doing that is very remote. As it has been stated by both you and others this model would better in the air than on the ground.

    ye the infestor should look similar to that. zerg imo needs a ground centipede like creature or a tentacled monster.

    I always thought that the defiler was a centipede. If they do make a bug-like unit i hope they base it off the defiler's model.

    @Zeratul, it would be sexy.

    The Defiler was no where near a Centipede, it was more like a legless Scorpion.

    You can tell the Corruptor was a ground unit first tho, just look as those armaments on the front, it looks so deadly.
    When I first saw this I thought they actually made a melee air fighter, then it started shooting :(

    You know, when you capatalize "Scorpion" it leads me to believe you must be talking about the charactor from Mortal Kombat. Odd in a SC setting, but it brings fond images to my mind.

    Ohh yeaa dude. I'm totally talking about Mortal Kombat in a thread about the Zerg Corruptor, I'll remember not to capitalize the name of something if it relates to a fighting game charactor.:wacko:
