I remembered from Age of Empires 2 that you could play coop against the computer or even against other players. with coop I mean the following: 2 or more players play like one player, so they both have vision, can control all units, just like if they played alone. If it isnt a too big problem to implent it could be very fun. I was so proud when me and my friend managed to defeat the very hard computer in AoE2
StarCraft did this So, I'd be willing to bet that StarCraft 2 will support this either through the editor or natively. I'm not sure if WarCraft III did this though ...
LOL. I faced 7 Very Hard computers. (and I lost) I can beat 2-3 by myself thought, I think, or was it Hard?
Most strategy games nowadays have co-op capability. Humans play on one team while the CPU sides play on another. Starcraft 2 will definitely have this.
Arvendragon: I think it was hard, very hard cheats with double income or so. Warcraft 3 didnt. Are you sure LL? AoE 3 didnt had it? A lot of strategy games dont have this I think, most just have single player co-op. And Eon, you can play coop by picking the same color as your friend. (just so you know )
By co-op, it meant using the same stuff and the same color, same resources, units, etc. And I just beat 7 Very Hards. Easy, you cheat. I can actually beat hards without cheating. 7 of them at once, but only if I wall and farm like hell,
Thank you TF and arvendragon for clearing it up, wasnt i presice enought? Cheating ofc.... I really hope its implented, its so much fun (not cheating, co-op)
Yeah, I've tried to play this numerous times with friends...I could never really find the fun in it. Just made things frustrating.. "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EXPANDING?! We need DEFENSE!"
