Professional. Does it matter? I thought they only differed in features and put the same amount of strain on a system.

I've got the most expensive amount of rig probably anyone has:

CPU: Core 2 Duo Extreme 3.9 GHz (?)
    Windows XP Professional SP2
    2GB RAM
    8800 Ultra SLi
    17 inch LCD
    1TB hard drive.

Total cost was well over USD $2500 if I remember right.

I have a second comp, though this one's much more reasonable:

    Windows XP Professional SP2
    Core 2 Duo E4300 OC'ed from 1.8 GHz to 3.47 GHz (!!!!)
    Nvidia 7900 GS
    2GB RAM
    500-ish GB hard drive.

All in all I could've bought a car for this price.

How many MHZ? And i think its intresting that you buy a so good processor and a so good graphic card(s), when you RAM seems "pretty bad". And how fast is you harddisk? mine is 300MB/s, and that helps out when the Ram's cant handle it.

I actually don't remember what MHz my RAM was, but my hard disk is two 500GB 3Gb/s in RAID. It's weird that my RAM's so weak but it's never been a problem for me. I don't plan on upgrading for a long, long time.

At least you have an upper Hardisk that can help you, when you have problems with you RAM.

1.5 TB in memory? Don't you mean hard drive? 1.5 TB RAM is impossible with today's technology sa far as I know. Unless you happen to own a supercomputer...

I would guess thats what it is because earlier in the post it says he has 1.5 GB Ram or he just made a mistake and put TB for GB.

    I personally have:

    Windows XP
    2.80 Ghz Pentium 4
    2 GB Ram
    Radeon 9800 Pro
    160 GB Hard disk space.
