    Hmm, only the last question wasn't a waste of space. Lol. Now at least we know that there will be no map editor in the beta. And erm, link to b.net thread please? :)

    This was like the driest Q&A to date. Thank God for the death animation video.

    Has it been mentioned at all if the "NDA" will be lifted during the beta phase so people can make videos?

    "NDA" ??

    Karune has stated that they encourage video making in one of the fansite Q&A's.

    NDA=Non-disclosure Agreement

    And there will be a Map Editor during the beta, just not from the getgo. My guess is that it'll become available after so and so many hours of play.

    Yeah, but that's not good enough. I mean, there are obviously still issues with it if they refuse to release it right away. Right?

    They don't want players to bog down at the editor but want them to focus on multiplayer at first, imo.

    I should've thought of that. Still lame, though.

    I just want that damn Map Editor to be as awesome as Karune says it is so that creative types can make the type of awesomeness that you can find on the WarCraft 3 custom circuit.

    While not the most discussable of Q&A's I found this one to be very interesting. I think being able to always view replays is great. It was always highly annoying to have to reinstall patches just to watch a replay, especially since the pros don't always use the latest patches. I also think it's really neat that you can see in the interface while being an observer. That kind of real time information dissemination is very nice. It is good to see that Blizzard is putting thought into making the game easier to interact with.

    i wonder what there going to do about observers interacting with the players. i mean you could have a friend in the same room observer the game and giving you information about the other player via these interfaces..

  15. ... I'm sooooooo glad I waited all day for this ...

    At least we know the map editor is included.

    If you have a friend watching as an observer you don't need the information. In WC3 you don't have the interface, but you would still basically have a map hack if you had a friend sitting in the room with you. It is a personal integrity thing, something that Blizzard can't regulate unless they decide to ban observers from the same IP as players.
