Dude, have you read the Marvel Zombies? They're crazy cool artwork, the story's a bit for wanting.

Rofl! Thats really cool artwork yeah. Damn, when I'm going to a bigger city ill check the comic store, but its probably limited :bad:

The thing in my town is that they only have kiddie stuff and x-men, spiderman and spawn. And those 3 are in dutch, while I rather would have them in english.

I think that's the first time I've ever heard Spawn described as "kiddie" lol

Yes. Yes I did. Though, I would like to argue that Spiderman is relatively kiddy compared to a lot of comics.

True, but just the basic story.

    Compare.

A guy in blue and yellow spandex with pointy things in his hand (Wolverine)

A nerd in red and blue spandex shooting white sticky stuff (Spiderman)

Ok, so maybe Spiderman is a bit mature...

True true. But I'm glad that x-men are rid of the spandex, they're no all leathered and kevlar-ed up.

No, new as in: I just bought the damn book, and the name is called new x-men because they just went a whole new way with the school, the name of this series was later returned to x-men again and they started a new series called new x-men which handles the students.

This topic has been inactive in like 2 months? Posting something new to bring it up again is ok I guess?

    Just finished reading this series;

It's really nice, it's a quite cynical story about the upcoming apocalypse set in motion by God and Satan. But the 2 persons that are required to really start it, Jay (christ) and Danny Wormwood (the antichrist), dont want anything of that. Funny comic.

whew. i almost made another thread about comics. it's a good thing i remembered to use the search function first.

this is my real favorite comic books: ;D

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pugad_Baboy

its pugad baboy. it's real funny and it's great for social and political awareness. too bad it won't be translated in other languages. ;D

i also like reading archie comics, preferably jughead.

    EDIT: @coalescence

there your topic is alive again. :D
