Color Option in Starcraft 1 --- Starcraft 2

Well friends, im just wondering, in Starcraft and Starcraft Broodwar, because you cannot choose a color you want specially when it comes to the game, okey if you dont understand what i mean, okey, example, you will play the original Starcraft and Broodwar, if you would like to control Protoss isn't you will select the protoss, but there is no option in order for us to choose what color we want,unless its random color right :no: thats what i mean friends, well i hope in Starcraft II they will put a color options so we can choose the color we want if violot yellow white red etch... right ???

I'm sure Blizzard will implement that. It's in Warcraft 3.
With this and the idle worker icon and the gathering rally point and who knows what else, Starcraft is picking up all the useful little features that other Real Time Strategy games have implemented long ago. This pairs with modern (and adjustable ) graphics, legendary races and a prestigious name, I think it is literally impossible to mess this project up to a point where people would say it's an unworthy sequel.

Yes onyx is a type of quartz that is often dark colors with the most well know being black

Each color means belongs to one faction. Red Zerg belong to Zasz. Brown one belong to Daggoth.
Same thing for the Terran : orange one are the Alpha squadron of Gen. Duke. Red Terran = Sons of Korhal.
( if I remember well about the colors of course )

Inside the official book of Starcraft we talk about the colors and the faction to which they belog.

So in the storyline, in the solo campaign you have not to choose your color. For instance in Brood War the UED is white, and must fight against Arcturus Mengsk's troops. So the enemy is red. That's logic.

 

on Bnet I always dreaded getting grey or brown, those are so boring... it would be nice to pick your color...

 

I agree with kuvasz, it wasn't in wc2 or sc, but they put it in wc3, so it will without any doubt be in sc2.

 

that's a great new's, becouse I don't like the brown and other colors, Orange for Zerg, Blue our Green for Toss, and Blue, Red, White our Yellow for terrans =)
