I used to be Terran in SC but I'm considering playing Zerg in SC2 for some reason, so to be on the safe side I'll be going for normal edition.

Fenix, AFAIK LotV is about two years away. You must be one dedicated Protoss fan :p

Also, first sneak post from work \o/

I don't really care about Collector editions much, but I figure the LoV one would come with some sweet swag, like a DT statue or somefink.

I will buy the collectors edition - I don't need the wow pet though - are they assuming this will be a popular inclusion?

Collectors edition. I will give the WOw pet to my brother who playes WOW. As for extras, i really hope they fill the art book with lots of new and unseen drawing, not those that we have already seen. The DVD behind the scenes. I hope to see how they storm ideas for units, see how they design them, intervies, cinematics and more. So now we just have to wait.

WoW-pet says it's a mini-Thor in case anyone's wondering, because I had to check what that was. Also it's rated T for Thor :)

That might be possible if the pet is an ingame code. But if it's just something added to your WoW account when you register your SC2 limited edition with Blizzard then it'd just be added to WoW on the same account as the SC2 is. And in that case you can't give it to your brother unless he plays on the same account as you.

Well each WoW expansion had a collectors edition so each SC2 expansion having a colelctors edition is very likely.

I feel a bit disappointed with myself for saying this but I'm actually glad this is the case. I've been obsessing about this series for over twelve years and now I'm obsessed with collecting things related to it :D

I'm confused, why is that being "safe"? Can you only purchase a limited edition for 1 of the 3 games/expansions? Or are you just meaning from an affordability standpoint?

I haven't decided yet, but I'll probably get normal for Wings. I've always been a die-hard Zerg fan though, even though I eventually play all the races, so I'll probably end up getting a collector's edition for the Zerg expansion.

I'll most likely get the Collector's Edition. As for the WoW-Pet I could care less because I don't care for Warcraft.
