COD Mordern Warfare 2

So, modern warfare 2 is coming out this year, and from what I remember, the story of modern warfare one was absolutely fantastic. The graphics in the trailers of MW 2 were very detailed too.

Anyways, who else is as excited about it as I am?

Well, I'll probably be a short single player campaign with an awesome MP experience.

 

I am a huge CoD4 fan. This next game is going to be a masterpeice. I can't wait.

We get to control gunships in multiplayer with a high enough kill streak "drool". I hope the Singleplayer gameplay is a bit better than the first MW though since that was the strength of COD1 and 2.

MW2, Borderlands, L4D2, SC2 beta, Bioshock 2 + a gazllion small games off steam and a 4 month holiday....i'm gonna be in heaven =D

But for now 1 month of exams -.-

Meh buying computer games is the only reason to have money =P

The Australian dollar is so strong i save $50 each from buying them off steam compared with retail lol

No dedicated servers for the PC version of MW2...they're going with the console set up for matchmaking instead...

It'll be interesting to see how this debacle turns out. Its funny since its if anything alot worse than the no lan in SC2 decision >.> and i'm sure even with the 100000 + petition already out they won't change their minds. Though i hope they do ...

Modern Warfare 2 is wait for it....90USD on steam for Australians thats twice as expensive as L4D2 or Borderlands!

I just gained alot more respect for EA for not supporting retail to the degree Activision does...

These recent events have shown a lot of PC players' true colours. The fact that literally thousands of people are revoking their pre-order for PC (Like it matters, the amount of money they'll make off PC is hardly a fraction of what they'll make off of Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360) just because they won't get dedicated servers makes no sense.

It's obvious they don't care about the singleplayer or new spec-ops mode at all, if they're not going to buy the game at all over something like no dedi servers. The other fact that they are actually having a TEMPER TANTRUM (Go to the website for MW2 and the PC section on the forums, it's ridiculous how much they're overreacting) over this is even more pathetic.

There's actually some people going to the lengths of SUEING (sp?) Infinty Ward over this, for whatever reason. I can understand you wanting Dedi Servers, but this is just a bit too far in my opinion. It won't be too bad--God forbid they bring them all down to our level.

Like I said it doesn't matter. From MW they made less than 800k off of the PC gamers, on Xbox 360 ALONE they made well over 155 million from game sells alone. Add PS3 and stuff--and add on even more due to how big this release is.

Okay as just to clarify things, us pc gamer aren't whining about nothing. Dedicated servers are a huge part of pc gaming. Also its not just that which is ticking us off,

That's just unacceptable. 9v9 is just pathetic. So any clan matches over 9 ppl is screwed up already and people with hopes of having the typical 15v15 or something higher are very, very disappointed
Then we don't get ANY console commands which is a degeneration of the FPS games produced so far....
And the final point i'm mentioning (not the article) is that you cannot ban or kick people from games. Its IW whose gonna do that, supposedly going to take care of the countless number of hackers and exploiters present never mind the griefers.

That's why PC gamers are canceling the pre-orders. Not just because of the lack of dedicated servers but from all of the points said above. Please do a bit of research before calling us pathetic.

My room mate is in line right now at GameStop picking this game up.

If the online play is anything like the original... I'll probably fail college. =]
