Client is being used to watch replays: good or bad?

As some of you may know, crackers put their teeth into the beta client as soon as it was up and there is now a way to use the client to watch recorded games. While you cant play the game, you can watch SC2 in your own pc instead of being forced to use youtube uploads.

Technically speaking ofc any modification of the client is illegal but, as far as only watching replays goes, do you think it is acceptable?

I know the link to the guide to do it but i won't post it here less i risk a banhammer. Thoughts?

 

This forum doesn't sponsor or endorse questionable methods. If you're not part of the Beta (like me) you'll have to be satisfied with the live feeds and the youtube videos (which are now legion). Wait for an administrator to reply to your post. Also: a 1.6 GB download just to watch replays?

 

Of course you are right, I was just wondering if anyone else felt at least... tempted? I'm not trying to promote piracy or anything, simply to discuss the subject in a civilized manner. No beef if a moderator wants to close thread.

 

i'm not big on piracy but it would be nice if we were able to spectate the beta live from our own comps instead of the constant choppy laggy low res streams from people. but i'm not really complaining since beta has arrived!
